A builder, in every chapter.
Entrepreneurship, operations, executive leadership, civic service and music may look like different worlds. For Rob Bilson, they are chapters of the same story: building things that last.

It started with creating something from nothing
Long before boardrooms and balance sheets, Rob Bilson was writing songs, making records and learning what it takes to move an audience. As frontman and songwriter for Seven Day Faith, he reached national radio, MTV and Billboard, and learned lessons no business school could teach: how to build something from a blank page, how to earn attention, and how to keep showing up when the outcome is uncertain.
Creativity became the foundation of how he leads. Building a brand, shaping a team, or launching a company all draw on the same instincts — vision, craft, and the discipline to finish.
Then came the discipline of operating
Rob moved into financial services and business process outsourcing, where he learned the operating side of building: systems, accountability, growth engines, and the unglamorous work that turns ambition into results. He co-founded Credit Vision, helped create and develop Rep Guru with delivery operations in Egypt, and developed leaders who could own outcomes without being managed.
Today, as Chief Operating Officer of Grass Island Capital, he provides executive and operational leadership across a portfolio of financial services and related businesses.
And the conviction to build his own
Founding Barrel of Bounce and launching Circa Café put Rob on the other side of the table — as the owner responsible for every decision, from concept and brand to operations and customer experience. It confirmed a belief that has guided his entire career: great ideas do not build businesses; great people and disciplined execution do.
He now makes that operating experience available to other owners and organizations through Niagara Strategy Group, and serves his community as Vice President of the Niagara Falls Board of Education.
And the music never stopped
Through every business chapter, Rob has kept writing, recording and performing. He records original music as Bilson, founded and fronts the live act Mr. Brightside, and has expanded into composing and producing music that has been licensed for television and streaming programming in the U.S. and abroad.
Whether the medium is a song, a company, a café or a school board, the work is the same: build something real, develop the people around it and see it through.
